This project brief was to design a new campaign for Resilience, Women@Youtube Summit 2019. My responsibility was to create a fun and engaging motion piece that would be projected throughout the conference.
Although this is a campaign related to YouTube, as an internal conference, the visual system didn't require following the entire guideline of YouTube. This means we have a spacious, creative field! The goal is to create a unique brand and design language for an immersive experience that is tied to the YouTube brand. During the process, I wanted to use the artwork to make the brand alive, and at the same time speak to the key themes: Resilience, communities, and empowerment.

“Resilience”:
The ability to respond to and recover from stress. In other words, it's how you address stress, plan for recovery, and move forward from various challenges or difficulties.

︎︎︎I explored versions of looping the logo R with various color selections.
I believe that it represents the long-lasting elasticity when people face stress, which helps us recover.

︎︎︎We also sent out emails to speakers and participants and gathered their different reasons for being resilient. These quotes were later turned into animated stickers that showed on the screen. It mingled the brand and audiences together to represent the diverse communities of YouTube female employees.
